Basket co-founder and president @AndyEllwood recently tweeted a poll asking users if, “Some occasions/life moments just can’t be summarized with a GIF.” Whereas 67% of people answered true, we’re not ashamed to say that we voted for false. So, when it came time to celebrate National Dairy Month this June, we figured what a better time to prove that everything can be summarized with a GIF?
Without further ado, here are a collection of our favorite dairy GIFS for National Dairy Month (because, duh, who doesn’t have a few of those?) that you’ll have a cow over!
1. This Never Ending Laughing Cow GIF
Where does it start and where does it stop? We don’t know and we don’t want to find out. Even better, this is the French Laughing Cow. We don’t what exactly it is that makes it that much funnier, but the French-themed music that’s playing in our head as this GIF repeats is probably it.

2. This Kitten Face Diving into Milk
We thought we would have more will-power than to include a kitten GIF this early into this compilation. But, when asked, “Are you excited about National Dairy Month?” This is pretty much how we feel. We can’t quite put our paws – I mean, hands – on what it is that gets us going but, we really love milk.

3. This Piglet Living Its Best Life
Okay, are you serious? This is the cutest thing we’ve seen in awhile. The little ears, the snout, and the bottle just really put us over the edge. We were typically a little stingy when it came to sharing our own dairy (that’s why we tell you where to find yours at the lowest prices near you!), but this piglet? Just take all of our milk. It’s okay, you deserve it.

4. This Giraffe Getting Bottle Fed by a Woman Wearing a Cow Blanket
Yes, you read that right. Here we have a literal giraffe getting bottle fed by a woman draped in a cow print blanket. We have so many questions for this GIF. Why is she wearing a cow print blanket? Why is she double fisting those milk bottles? Where is this even happening?
But, alas. This GIF cannot divulge any more than it’s currently giving. But, if you ask us – it’s really giving us a lot.

5. This Milk Jug Getting Held by James Dean
Le swoon, James Dean really was dreamy. Here we see the late actor snuggling a jug of milk. This was most likely in the star’s “Rebel Without a Cause” era, and we think that’s why we like it so much. At Basket, we consider ourselves rebels in our right, battling the opacity of grocery one scan at a time. We’re thinking we should also snuggle a milk jug too, you know, to solidify our “rebel” status.

Oh baby, what are you doing? Poor little guy was so eager to get the milk in his bowl for National Dairy Month, he got it all over the table instead. We feel bad for laughing… but we’re laughing. Perhaps it’s the bad infomercial vibes this GIF is giving us, or the look of pure defeat that crosses little man’s face as the bowl silently clatters back to the table. A+ for effort dude, keep drinking that milk!

Have you ever gotten second-hand embarrassment for somebody you don’t even know? That’s what is happening to us right now. Between the hair flip, the Destiny’s Child power-strut, and that half squat… it’s so bad we can’t look away. Plus, all of that eye contact? It’s making us rather uncomfortable.
We wonder if this guy still remembers that he filmed this commercial back in the day. Or, if he knows that today we watch it back on a silent loop, cringing. Man, we hope so.

Gazing at Tina Fey singing to her night cheese is truly inspirational. Finally, we have a name for the slivers of decadent dairy we sneak before bed. It’s simply night cheese. When sung to the tune of “Night Moves” by Bob Seger, it really gets some “oomph” behind it. If you need us, we’ll be crooning to our night cheese all Dairy Month.
